Pickleball doubles with rotating partners
This is the Americano idea applied to pickleball doubles: partners change every round, so by the end everyone has played with as many different people as the rounds allow. Points are kept per player, so the leaderboard shows who did best across all their partners.
How it works
- Type who turned up, one name per line.
- Pick the format, the number of courts and the points per game.
- Tap Generate. Each round shows who plays on which court and who sits out.
- Type the scores as games finish. The leaderboard updates straight away.
- Print the sheet, show it on a TV, or copy a link for the group. The session is saved on this device, so you can close the page and come back.

Questions
How many rounds for 8 players on 2 courts?
Seven. With 8 players on 2 courts everyone plays every round, and 7 rounds is exactly enough for each player to partner each of the other 7 players once.
How are sit-outs shared fairly?
When there are more players than places on court, the players who have sat out the fewest times play next. Over the default number of rounds everyone sits out the same number of times.
What score should pickleball round robin games go to?
Many sessions play each game to a fixed total of rally points, such as 16 or 21, so every court finishes at about the same time. Pick the total under Points per game; the tool fills in the other team's score for you.
